This week, we're joined by former light heavyweight champion Glen Johnson and Frankie Figueroa. Plus, a breakdown of last weekend's fights and a look forward at Saturday's Super Six action.
It's true, we're back... and we have a veritable plethora of stuff for you this week! We're joined by Glen "The Road Warrior" Johnson this week. Last time he was on our show, he was practically lusting (yes, I said "lusting") after a rematch with "Bad" Chad Dawson. Now that he's got his wish, he talks to us about preparation for the fight, how he plans to anticipate home-cooking, and how "3 More Rounds" single-handedly brought about this rematch! (Well, and other media and fans, we suppose.)
After that, we've got a friend of "3MR" coming back for a visit: Francisco "El Gato" Figueroa, and it's nothing like you've heard from him before. After a stinging blow of being sent home from Cotto's training camp, the Gato bears his claws and talks Camp Cotto, frustration with boxing politics, and his upcoming bout with Rashad Holloway on ESPN2's "Friday Night Fights" November 4. He's fired up! But of course, not so angry that he doesn't drop a little LL Cool J on us!
All this, PLUS, bouts 1 and 2 of the Super Six World Boxing Classic, verbal attacks from Camp Pacquiao, HOLY CRAP DID YOU SEE LATIN FURY 12??, Linares' shocker knockout, and... I get fired??? This can't be good for business.
